There has been a cinema at Central Hall since 1978 (!) but The Fritz is brand new as a business as of September 2006. The new owner, Michael Levy, looks forward to building on the old traditions of the cinema as well as adding some new ones of his own. Organic popcorn, Saturday night door prizes, featured speaker series, film festivals & other community fundraisers are just a few of the new initiatives at The Fritz
The Fritz is an up-to-date cinema featuring Dolby Surround Sound, a full 35mm projection system along with everything else you'd expect to find at a cinema in a large city. We have real butter for the organic popcorn, Sunday matinees and "cheap" Tuesdays...something for everyone! open Friday - Tuesday throughout the year. Seven days a week July & August.
